When you play, the headphones that you are using, they can be very different from the headphones that are used to listen to music.
Here are some features to look out for when buying new gaming headphones:
Comfort – Perhaps the most important thing for me is looking for comfortable video gaming headphones. The last thing you want to do during an intense gaming session is stop because the headphones are uncomfortable.

Here the cushioning is important, but at the same time you do not want to get too warm. It's a tough compromise, but if done right, you should be able to carry your phone for hours on end without discomfort.
Cord Length – The length of your headphone cord seems odd, but to play this game it is very important. If it's too short, you're too close to your screen.
However, if it's too long, entanglement can become a problem. For me, 2 meters worked fine, but headphones with a variable length detachable cable set were ideal.
Bass – While overall good sound quality is important in games, it is bass to me that really makes the experience.
Strong bass and high quality can keep you immersed in the game. There's nothing like feeling like a bullet fired from the first person when you shoot.
Adaptability – If you only use gaming headphones, that's fine. However, if, like many others, you use headphones for music and watching movies, you need one that is all in one. Some headphones even have separate game and non-game modes for best sound in all situations.
